Several alfalfa fields in north central Kansas were sampled last week to assess early-season alfalfa pests. The main focus was on alfalfa weevil and pea aphids. The assessment also checked the effects of the cold weather from two weeks ago. All fields were within 4–5 miles of the I-70 corridor.
