* I started my day with two eggs for breakfast. They were caramel Cadbury eggs, but whatever. The diet plan just said two eggs. I don’t make the rules!

* In the spring of 1965, the Rogers & Hammerstein version of Cinderella was aired on CBS, starring Lesley Ann Warren as Cinderella and Stuart Damon as the prince. I loved the two stepsisters, Prunella (Pat Carroll) and Esmeralda (Barbara Ruick), and their featured song, “Stepsisters’ Lament,” asking, “Why would a fellow want a girl like her?” The movie is a must-see! And remember, Pat Carroll also portrayed Ursula in Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” years later.

* Who else has walked like an Egyptian, moonwalked, walked this way, walked on the wild side, walked the line, walked 500 miles, and walked on sunshine?

* Just in case anybody wants this Orange Julius recipe, the ingredients are: half a can of frozen orange concentrate; one cup of milk; two tablespoons of heavy cream; half a cup of sugar; a teaspoon of vanilla extract; and three cups of ice. Pour it all into a blender and mix until frothy.

* I love my Chiefs, but I will be watching Detroit Lions football a lot more come this fall!

* A weather day in March is as follows: Winter is at 6:00 a.m.; Spring will be at 10:00 a.m.; Summer is at 2:00 p.m., and Autumn is about 5ish. Dress accordingly.

* Another update on my “Highlander” movie watch!! Christopher Lambert, the original Connor MacLeod, is reportedly returning for a cameo in the new Highlander reboot with Henry Cavill and Russell Crowe! Now, if they just get Adrian Paul who played Duncan MacLeod in the TV series, to make an appearance, I would be more than good with that!

* This is me. I literally live in sweats and sweatshirts, t-shirts and shorts, but you should see what all I pack when I am on vacation!

* How in the heck does anybody get tickets to see the Savannah Bananas? The game in Kansas City is already sold out! And I did sign up for the lottery raffle. I guess I will just have to watch them on YouTube and enjoy their antics on the baseball field from my couch.
