This And That
* We all know that song, “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?” Well, I have thought about, and I say no, I don’t want to. I want to build a sandcastle on a beach in the Caribbean.
* I do this all the time….I have started my car only to have the radio blast me out of the door because I was listening to a great song when I parked and had turned up the volume to the max. And if I am lucky, another great song just blasted me out of the door!
* It’s time for some Edgar Winter! Who remembers “Frankenstein” and “Free Ride?”
* Your Bridgerton name is: Lord or Lady, Your middle name, The last drink you drank, Then add ‘ton’ at the end of it, Add of, The first part of your street name, and Add shire to that. Mine is Lady Mary Waterton of Southshire. I think it has a certain ring to it.
* And to go with that, in English we say, “My favorite person.” But in poetry we say “Among a million stars, you are the one that lights up my whole sky.”
* I am with whoever wrote this: “Society started going downhill when cruising in cool cars with great music blasting out the windows got replaced by scrolling.”
* And since we are talking about cool cars, sometimes you just gotta take a drive, blast a good song, roll your windows down, and sing at the top of your lungs…it’s called car therapy!
* And I have to ask, “Who remembers opening that little triangular “wing window” in the car to get a breeze right in your face?”
* Here is another thing I agree with… .“The work me, outside me, and home me are completely different people.”
* I read where schools are swapping out traditional clocks for digital versions after teachers noticed that students are having difficulty reading the clock faces. I say, keep the clocks and teach them how to tell time on them. Otherwise, they won’t be able to read a sundial!
* I read this and I think it is probably true—Squirrels cause 10-20% of the United States power outages.
* This week I am going with the music of The Four Tops, and The Spinners!
