Body

Michelle (Shelly) Lee Nuss, 55, of Phillipsburg, Kansas, passed away on February 26, 2026, at her home surrounded by her children following a courageous battle against cancer. She was born on February 1, 1971, in Clifton Springs, New York.

Shelly was, above all else, a loving mother and proud grandma.

She had a deep love for her family and cherished time spent together—whether that meant cooking, gathering everyone around the table, or cheering passionately for her favorite lifelong team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shelly is survived by her loving partner, Brad Parker; her children, Tanner Wells, Taylor and Jessi Ganoung, Treagen Haas and fiancée Mallorie Collazo, and Sierra Haas; and her greatest joys, her grandchildren, Rory and Jada Ganoung, and Mia, Millie, and Isabella Haas.

She is also survived by her siblings: Tim Krob; Jerry and Kelly Nuss; Eva and Tim Malin; Chad and Stephanie Nuss; and Dallas Nuss, along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Judith Nuss.

Shelly will be remembered for her love of family, her devotion to her grandchildren, and her ornery-natured spirit.

An intimate family gathering has been held to celebrate Shelly’s life.

Memorials are suggested to Shelly's family to be designated at a later date; online gifts may be made through tribute pay via: https://www.keithleyfuneralchapels.com/payments
