Body

At the young age of 30, Clarence Robert Christopher Foster received his Angel Wings after an unexpected, sudden death on Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, at SSM St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Clarence, who went by Chris most of his life, was born on December 7th, 1995, to the late Robert Foster and Tammy Foster in Branson, Missouri.

Chris grew up in Palco, Kansas, where he also attended school. Later, moving to Oklahoma shortly after the death of his father, Robert Foster, in May of 2012.

As early as the age of 3, Chris began tinkering with tools. He then learned how to remove lug nuts from vehicles. Christopher was a precocious child with endless curiosity, lots of energy, and a knack for driving his sisters crazy at times. His “mile-a-minute” brain and the resulting “here-and-now” distraction, when combined with his sense of adventure, meant he was on the go and who only knew what he was up to. He loved doing mechanical work, being outdoors, and had a passion for fishing.

Chris was a true lover of life, a humorous storyteller, and a determined individual. Anyone who knew him knew he was rough around the edges, but under that tough skin, he had the biggest heart. And if you had the chance to see it, you were lucky. He was one of a kind.

Chris was met on the golden-paved road by his father, Robert Foster; his grandparents, Robert Foster, Beverly Foster, and Rosemary Ramsey; and Aunt Margaret Ganoung.

He leaves behind his mother, Tammy Foster of Oklahoma; his siblings, Jessica Coleman (Gordon) of Palco, Terry Lance Hays of Natoma, Shannon Hays (Sheena) of Natoma, Brettonie Foster (Hayden) of Oklahoma, and a bonus sister, Helen King (Tim) of Stockton; Uncles Les (Tina) Foster of Edgerton, and Bill "Toot" (Kim) Foster of Plainville; Aunt Bertie (Dale) Meder of Hays; Uncle Wayne (Tressia) Paramore of Plainville; Uncle Justin (Gina) Bunting; Uncle Chris Casper and Aunt Jackie Mickelson of Ellis; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Chris will never be forgotten, but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. As an organ donor, Chris' legacy is etched not on a gravestone, but in the hearts of those who received a gift of life. His life may have been cut short, but he will forever live on in the donors who receive his organs.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Plainville at a later date, with his final resting place with his father at Plainville Cemetery in Plainville, Kansas.
