Time to choose your Santa’s ‘Deer Ones photo

For the 28th year, the Stockton Sentinel announces it’s time to choose your favorite family photo to be included in our special Christmas feature, Santa’s ‘Deer Ones.

This issue includes the Santa’s Deer Ones photo submission form to help the elves who put the edition together at the Stockton Sentinel run the process more smoothly.

With the option of emailing photos, as well as the regular mail-in letters and drop-offs at the office, this form will help keep things in a more orderly fashion for this much-anticipated feature.

The submission form for the ‘Deer Ones will be printed in this and future editions, and outlines what information is needed.

First of all, the name(s) and age(s) of the ‘Deer Ones can be printed on the lines provided. Then, the next lines are set so that a person can print whose ‘Deer One(s) they are.

If desired, a person can also include their city and relationship to the ‘Deer Ones. This is a change from past years when the person(s) submitting the ‘Deer Ones was listed, along with the ‘Deer Ones’ additional relatives, etc.

Now, only those submitting the ‘Deer Ones picture will be listed.

We will be including “In Memory” ‘Deer Ones, photos of your loved ones who have passed on, that you would like to remember at Christmastime. Please submit them with the form, as you would any other ‘Deer One.

Each ‘Deer One submitted will need their own form and payment. All ‘Deer Ones pictures MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE or they will not run.

The charges for the pictures are $5.00 per picture with one individual or pet, or $10 per picture with two or more individuals/ pets pictured.

The forms, pictures, and payments can also be dropped off at the office during our regular business hours, which are 9-12 and 1-5 on Mondays and Thursdays.

Remember, the absolute deadline is Saturday, November 30th.

As always, if you want the photo returned, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your ‘Deer Ones pictures.

The Santa’s ‘Deer Ones feature will be published on Thursday, December 19th.

“Dear Santa” letters (from 1st- through fourthgrade Stockton students), will also be a part of this special edition to our readers.
