* Let’s advocate for this…A national Quiet Day where everyone just shuts up for 24 hours.
* Everyone deserves to be happy, so let’s decorate for Fall today! It’s close enough to September 1st! Eat a pumpkin spice muffin!
* Here is another one for you all!.....Thirty years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs. Now we have no hope, no cash and no jobs. Lord, please don’t let Kevin Bacon die!
* It seems the new words used online are “demure” and “mindful.” After listening to how these two words are being used, all I have to say is “Didn’t these people learn the definitions in school?”
* There is an Instagram post stating, “If you had to choose between George Strait singing “Amarillo By Morning” or Toby Keith singing “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” which one would you choose? Are they crazy?! You don’t compare legends.
* I read where the illegal alien crossings at the Mexican border are at their lowest they have ever been the Biden era. What’s so great about that since he basically signed to have open borders the day he went into office? By now we must have most of them, so I suppose that would mean the numbers would be down.
* Raise your hand if you had a waterbed in the 1980s! * Now that the Nova Theatre has shown the movie, “Deadpool & Wolverine,” I can safely tell you without giving away any secrets that I literally jumped out of my chair when I heard actor Chris Evans as Fantastic Four’s Johnny Flame shout, “Flame on!”
* Love this…. Went to a salsa class and when the instructor asked “Who’s ready to learn how to dance?” I hide my tortilla chips bag knowing there had been a big misunderstanding.
* I want this out there—before the upcoming General Election in November PLEASE look at the candidates’ records, what their campaign policies are, what they have done or have not done in the past, and make an informed decision on who to vote for. Don’t read or watch the negative things about any candidate. And do not vote for someone just because some actor or public figure is endorsing one candidate or the other. Think for yourself and do what is best for you, your family, and the country’s future.
