It’s time for the first-ever RED FEST!!
This Saturday, June 22nd
Let’s paint this town red, with Stockton’s first-ever RED FEST set for this Saturday, June 22nd!
This big summer event will start at 9:00 a.m. at Stockton City Park with a ton of games, giveaways, and vendors scheduled throughout the day and ending with live music by Trenton Fletcher with Austin Dixon from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
The general admission price is $20.00 per person and FREE for ages six (6) and under for the entire day, which includes ax throwing, giant jenga, face painting, bouncy houses, yard pong, Marco Polo, demonstrations, and a slip and slide. This price also includes admission to the live music during the evening hours.
Kicking off the big day will be a Color Run at 9:00 a.m., with registration from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Then, some competitive games and tournaments will be held throughout the day, starting with a volleyball tournament at 11:00 a.m., with registration from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The winning team will get bragging rights for the year and the first-ever RED FEST trophy! Following volleyball will be a cornhole tournament ($20.00 registration fee per team), with registration from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. when the tournament is scheduled to start.
First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded. And if you and your team are on a winning streak, register for the horse shoe tournament from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for another chance at some cash prizes. This tournament will start at 3:00 p.m. with a $20.00 entry fee per team. A flag football game will have registration from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with the winning team to get those bragging rights and a RED FEST trophy. The game will start at 6:00 p.m. The games and tournaments are scheduled so everyone can participate in multiple events!
A dunk tank fundraiser is planned from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with all proceeds donated to the Stockton Fire Department, so get your throwing arm warmed up!
Adding to the fun before the live music at 8:00 p.m. will be a firefighter dance challenge scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
A free brunch/pancake feed, donated by RED FEST, will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., so come hungry because there will also be food trucks and vendors on the grounds to purchase savory snacks and delicious treats throughout the day.
The beer stand will open at 12:30 p.m.
The plan is to have fun, eat, and repeat all day long with FREE tent camping for those coming early and staying late! A lot of work and planning went into making this event a reality, so plan on supporting a great cause by coming to it and having a great time!
It’s where summer meets live music, games, good food, and more!
