* There was an Isiah Pacheco Youth Football Camp in Wichita at the Stryker Sports Complex on Thursday, May 23rd, and one on Friday, May 24th, at Blue Valley Southwest High School in Overland Park, and nobody told me! Of course, you had to be between the ages of six to 16, but I don’t think that would have stopped me!

* I need to try this hack. Pour a package of any flavor of Kool-Aid into a chilled carton of Simply Lemonade for a cool summertime drink! I think I will try strawberry Kool-Aid.

* Yes, I am going to say and do this! I plan on following Buffalo Bills Keon Coleman’s NFL career.

* The average person in the U.S.A. has only been to five of these places. How many have you seen or visited? Times Square, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Mall of America, Walt Disney World, Zion National Park, Liberty Bell, Golden Gate Bridge, Lake Tahoe, White House, Hollywood Sign, Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore, Lincoln Memorial, Space Needle, Brooklyn Bridge, Yosemite National Park, Las Vegas Strip, Grand Canyon, Chicago Bean, Everglades, Central Park, and Death Valley.

* I recently heard in a commercial that some of the side effects of taking a particular drug could lead to a stroke, heart attack, death, or even worse. Tell me what could possibly be worse than death—I’ll wait.

* The Big Slick Celebrity Weekend at Kansas City was recently held. It started with a celebrity softball game at Kauffman Stadium. On Saturday, there was a Big Slick party and show at the T-Mobile Center. Some celebrities were Sheryl Crow, Adam Scott, Big Al Yankovic, Logan Mize, David Cook, and a few Kansas City Chiefs (Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.) If you don’t know about Big Slick, it started in 2010 when actor Rob Riggle called his fellow Shawnee Mission graduates Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis with an idea to host a poker tournament to raise money for Children’s Mercy Hospital. With some planning and friends to help, the first Big Slick Celebrity Weekend was born with Will Ferrell, Bobby Cannavale, George Wendt, and Will Forte helping to raise over $120,000.00 in the first year. After that, Eric Stonestreet and David Koechner joined in as hosts, and the organization is now in its 15th year with more than $21 million raised through sponsorships, a live auction, and merchandise. Every dollar goes directly to Children’s Mercy Hospital for the eradication of pediatric cancer.
