Letter to the Editor

I want to take a moment to recognize my friend and co-worker Wes Higdon. I've known Wes for several years; however, only in the last few months have I really come to know him. Whenever I have seen Wes around town, I have been impressed by his positive attitude and glowing personality. Whether going all out for the holidays by decorating his car and wearing festive holiday headgear or putting on a puppet show at vacation Bible school, he always finds a way to make people smile.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to work with Wes at J-Mart, and I can honestly say that I think he is one of the hardest workers on our team. Wes is always on time for work and comes in with a can-do attitude. If you work after Wes, you can be assured that all the side work will be done correctly. He never stands around. When he does need help, he is always incredibly grateful to whoever shows up to help. These are amazing qualities that you don't often see these days!

I hope that when you run into Wes around town that you are also able to recognize these traits in him. He's a great guy and a wonderful asset to our community.
