Farm/Ranch Financial Management program set for Thursday, February 8th

The Phillips-Rooks Extension District will be hosting a free, daylong Farm/Ranch Financial Management program in the 4-H Building at the Rooks County Fairgrounds in Stockton on Thursday, February 8th.
The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a Market Outlook and Financial Budgeting for Crops and Livestock session, presenter Dan O’Brien, KSU Grain Economist and Kansas Farm Management Association Ag Economist.
At 11:15 a.m., there will be a Crop and Livestock Insurance Options session, presenter Jenny Ifft, KSU Agricul- ture Economist.
Lunch /Local Crop and Pasture Lease Survey Results is at noon, with lunch sponsored by Garrett Insurance and Solutions North Bank. Farm Transition and Ag Mediation, presenter Kay Prather, Kansas Agricultural Mediation Services, will be at 12:45 p.m. A Q & A with Panel Discussion will be at 1:15 p.m. with speakers plus representatives from Farmers National Bank, FSA, Heritage Crop Insurance, NRCS, and Solutions North Bank. The meeting will conclude at 2:00 p.m.
