Merry Christmas from the Sentinel staff to all of you
This issue of the Stockton Sentinel features our twenty-seventh edition of our special holiday section, “Santa’s ‘Deer Ones.”
Our readers look forward to this special feature each, which contains children’s “Letters to Santa” from grades one through four, Christmas greeting ads from local merchants and sponsors, and all the 132 wonderful pictures which our readers have submitted.
Each year, we never know how many pictures we’ll end up with, but we have always gotten a great response. So, thank you to all who contributed to this special issue—whether through pictures or greeting ads—helping assure us we have your support for this issue and solidifying its continuation.
We also want to thank the teachers at the grade school: Kari Becker, Jen Kesler, Angela Rhoden, Brooke Harris, and Martha Fleck, for taking the time to help make this issue possible with the “Letters to Santa” from their students.
We are happy with the response we get each year and are pleased to note that since we began 28 years ago, the issue has been enjoyed by many over and over again. Yes, it’s been 28 years as we skipped the year 2012 due to an upgrade of computers.
We can’t begin to thank you enough for your support each day throughout this past year. Without it— whether through advertising or the submission of news—there wouldn’t be a local paper.
We ask for your continued support and remind our readers that we are always looking to add new contacts for news through e-mail. Please give us your news! If you’d like a weekly reminder sent your way, just e-mail us at our address: stocktonsentinel@gmail.com and we’ll add your address to our list.
Happy Holidays to all of our faithful readers and advertisers from the Sentinel staff: Bob, Susan, Bart, and Virgi, plus our canine greeter, Keely.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! Enjoy your families and remember the real reason for the season.
