Sign up for the 2023 Parade of Christmas Trees!

The 39th annual Parade of Christmas Trees at the Stockton Public Library is just around the corner, so it is time to start thinking of ideas and getting ready for this special holiday event. The Chamber asks for the town’s help to make this display successful by having organizations, businesses, classes, or individuals decorate a tree.

This year’s theme is “Olde Tyme Christmas on Gingerbread Lane.” People can follow the theme or choose whatever they wish for their tree decorations. So start thinking about your themes now since trees can be put up between Monday, October 23rd through Friday, November 17th during regular Library hours. (Please mark any tree skirts or extension cords you bring.) The trees will be on display in the Carnegie Room until the end of the year for the public to enjoy.

And no worries if you don’t have a tree to decorate since the Library can loan out one of its fifteen trees on a first come/first serve basis. So call early!

People’s Choice awards will be for first, second, and third place for the Adult and Youth Divisions. The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the prizes. Viewers can vote for their favorites in each category with the prizes awarded in January.

Please get in touch with the Library by phone (785-425-6372) or come in to fill out a form to register your tree. Planning early for this event allows the Library time to make sure it has room for your entry.
