THE SUNDAY EVENING THUNDERSTORM
MORE RAIN FELL NORTH OF STOCKTON than in the immediate area of the city, but the west side of town—the park, the football field and track, and the field to the west of town—caught the brunt of the overflowing Dibble Creek.

THE SUNDAY EVENING THUNDERSTORM made itself known with the rain accumulations varying from two to eight inches in and to the north of Stockton. The runoff of the water came to rest in Dibble Creek located west of Stockton, as well as on the Stockton football field and the field west of the creek where the fireworks stand is located.
