At the invitation of Kansas Governor Laura Kelly, 2024 Stockton High School graduate Claire Plumer of Stockton was selected to attend the 41st Annual Governor Scholars Awards Program on May 5, 2024, in Topeka.

The recognition ceremony honors the top academic one percent of Kansas high school seniors.
