Stockton PUMPKIN PATCH this weekend, October 12th & 13th

Let’s scare up some spooky fun at the Stockton PUMPKIN PATCH this weekend down at the Stockton City Park located on West Highway 24, on Saturday, October 12th, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, October 13th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

Admission is $1.00 daily and FREE for children three and under. The admission stamps are good for the PUMPKIN PATCH games and train rides.

Games and activities during the two days of the event will be a Corn Box, a Fall Guessing Contest, a Maze, Pumpkin Bowling, Tic-Tac-Toe, Jenga, a Scavenger Hunt, a Pumpkin Ring Throw, Trivia, Lazer Tag, a Slide, and the Nex-Tech Train. (There will be a size chart for the train.)

On Saturday, the pumpkin purchases and spookiness starts at 10:00 a.m. There will be a Story Time, Doughnut Bobbing, Games, Vendors, a Fall Baking Contest at 11:00 a.m., and a Fall Bake Walk sponsored by the Hobart FCE. There will be three divisions (Adults 18+, Teens 13-17, and 12 and Under) with prizes for the top three dishes.

The Sigma Phi ESA’s fundraiser lunch will have Sloppy Joes, Walking Tacos, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, Popcorn Balls, Caramel Corn, Pop, and Bottled Water at the lunch stand, so come hungry! Prices will be posted.

The “High School Only Evening,” will start at 6:00 p.m. till 11:00 p.m. on Saturday night. There will be Food, a Pop Ring Toss, a Football Throw, Pumpkin Launchers, and Car Smashing, along with Pumpkin Smashing (extra cost of $1.00). Then, at 8:30 p.m. is the Night of the Walking Dead!

Come at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday to enjoy a lunch of Soups, Desserts, and Water for the Junior Class Fundraiser. The Halloween Costume Parade will be at 2:00 p.m. with a Pie Eating Contest at 3:00 p.m. And, of course, pumpkins will be for sale with all the games and even more vendors set up again during the afternoon hours.

Prices for pumpkins, concessions, snacks, apple cider, hot cocoa, face painting, mums, Halloween/ Fall craft and floral arrangements, s’mores, and more will be posted.

On Saturday the vendors signed up to date include Motion Dance Company, Coco The Label, Rooks County Historical Museum, Living Light Boutique, Misty’s Dance Gallery, TW Creations, LJ’s Things, Neva Byfield, Mary Beth Rose, The Daily Grind, Sunflower State Creations, The Three Wishes, SHS KAY Club, Pawsome Pastries, Sigma Phi ESA, Paradise Eats, Piper Creighton, Firefighters, and Blooming Oasis.

On Sunday, there will be even more vendors!

They include Motion Dance Company, Coco The Label, Southfork Ranch, Living Light Boutique, Misty’s Dance Gallery, TW Creations, LJ’s Things, Neva Byfield, Mary Beth Rose, The Daily Grind, Sunflower State Creations, The Three Wishes, SHS KAY Club, SHS Junior Class, Ballard Brothers, Fourth and Gracie Gals, I’m Stuffed Cupcakes & Cookies, Piper Creighton, Firefighters, and Blooming Oasis.

Another feature is the Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Purchase your pumpkins at the Patch and upload a picture of your scary masterpiece to the Chamber Facebook page by Friday, October 25th. Voting will take place via Facebook on Sunday, October 27th, with the winners announced on Halloween.

The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce and many volunteers, organizations, and sponsors (listed in the ad) have worked together for several months to bring this Halloween event to our town for Stockton and the surrounding communities to enjoy! See you all at this fun fall event!

(FYI: Hay bales will be on sale at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. You must pay before you can pick them up.)
