Body

Friends of Webster State Park, Kansas Wildlife & Parks, and the Bureau of Reclamation joined together to build a second dump station for the 2024 camping season.

Friends of Webster State Park donated generous funding for this project through membership drives, fundraisers, and memorials from the families of Mike Simon and Lola Simon.

Webster State Park Manager Zach Kesler and park staff Adam Bryant (Park Ranger) and Ethan Kriley (Park Tech) worked diligently to complete this project, with Chad Simon representing his late father, Mike, and grandmother, Lola. Also on hand at the dedication to thank and show appreciation to all those who made this project possible were Friends of Webster State Park officers Ray Palmer (Presi-dent) and Don Jenkins (Treasurer), along with Chuck Timmons with his wife, Mary, and Connie Jenkins, board members. The sign was designed by Lib Studio, Libby Kester.— Sent In
