U.S. 281 is closed to through traffic north of Russell
On March 15 the Kansas Department of Transportation planned to close a portion of U.S. 281 in Russell County to through traffic, weather permitting.
The closure will begin at 15th Street in Russell and extend north to Land Road. Traffic will be detoured via I-70, K-232 and K-18.
