Please find enclosed check. I appreciate the Stockton Sentinel. I know Mom enjoys it tremendously. She shares many stories with me and as I commented in a previous e-mail, I don’t think she misses a single word of an issue. The Sentinel and other papers from rural and frontier areas are so important to the communities they serve and what a wonderful way for resident of these communities to keep in tune with local happenings and a great way for readers to keep up on each other. The local newspapers in our rural and frontier regions in Kansas tend to be the last bastions for residents to have access to unbiased news reporting. Most opportunities for access to news are gone in our society with most information posing as news actually being editorialized biased storytelling to fit an agenda or media news creation rather than news reporting. Our small town newspapers are a breath of fresh air!!! Thank you for your hard work and excellent newspaper. You are appreciated.
