Purdums celebrate 60 years of marriage

Harry and Willardene Purdum of Stockton will be celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniverary on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

The couple were married on March 11, 1961.

The Purdums’ family includes their children: Harry Purdum of Stockton, Ellen and Dewey Bateman of Lubbock, Texas, and Willard and Tiffany Purdum of Rock Springs, Wyo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

During their 60 years of married life, Harry and Willardene have lived in Utah, Oklahoma, Idaho, North Dakota, New Mexico, California, Colorado, and Kansas, with their present residence being in Stockton.

Harry was in the Civil Service for the United States Air Force and is presently known as “Harry the techie of Stockton.” They have both been a part of many community activities over the last 25 years.

Their children will be hosting a reception for their parents on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021, at 2:00 p.m., at the Main Street Christian Church in Stockton.
