Heather Melton and Alexander King exchanged vows on October 2nd in Greensburg

Heather Melton and Alexander King were married Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Kiowa County Fairgrounds in Greensburg, Kan., by officiant Alex Cox.

The bride is the daughter of Doug Melton of Stockton and Mary and TC Dawson of Greensburg. She is the granddaughter of Maurine and the late Clarence Jenkins of Greensburg, Linda and Steven Melton of Stockton, and the late Connie (Chesney) Melton of Woodston.

The groom is the son of Rick and Susan King of Tecumseh. He is the grandson of Bonnie and Virgil King of Lecompton, Neil Bates of Moran, Texas, and Marian and Herman Hensley of Curville, Texas.

The bride is a 2014 graduate from Kiowa County High School as well as a 2018 graduate from Fort Hays State University.

The groom is a 2011 graduate from Shawnee Heights High School as well as a 2016 graduate from Fort Hays State University. The couple currently resides in Loveland, Colo.
