The Kansas Geological Survey reported another small earthquake in southern Rooks County near the Ellis/Rooks County line.

The 2.6-magnitude quake was recorded at 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, September 8th.

This is the third quake in nearly the past two months in this area of Rooks County.
