Rooks State Fish Lake remains in “Warning” Advisory for Blue-Green Algae

For the third week in a row, Rooks County State Fishing Lake in under an active “Warning” Advisory for Blue-Green Algae.

The latest advisories were released this Thursday afternoon, September 15, from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP).

No other lakes in the immediate area are under a “Warning” or “Watch” advisory at this time.
